As an integral part of our guild, Community Quilts organizes the making and distribution of quilts for many service agencies here in Sonora, California.  Following is a list of agencies that we have given to over the last year.

• Center For A Non Violent Community

• Foothill Pregnancy Center

• Humane Society of Tuolumne County

• Sierra Senior Providers – Meals on Wheels

• Sonora Regional Medical Center/Hospice of the Sierra and Long-Term Care

• Tuolumne County Health Department/WIC

We encourage our members to participate by sewing quilt kits, providing patterns and fabric.so that we can meet the demand for donated quilts.  Our guild will supply batting and backing for any quilt tops that our members donate to Community Quilts. We  have several very dedicated longarm quilters who donate their time and expertise to help in our goal of donating 300 quilts a year.
